Phyllis Jeanette Stewart
Celebration of Life Services for Phyllis Jeanette Stewart, 69, of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Pastor Efrain Cirilo and Reverend Roger Hines, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born March 20, 1947, in Atlanta, TX to TJ Adair and Sue Gray, and passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 in Longview. She was a homemaker and attended Crosspointe Fellowship Church in Kilgore.
She met the love of her life, Johnny Willynn Stewart and they married April 3, 1965, in Texarkana and celebrated 51 beautiful years of marriage this past April. Phyllis was a very loving, caring and generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Johnny Stewart of Longview; son, Johnny Stewart, Jr. of San Antonio; and daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Stoney Lake of Liberty City; Four grandchildren, Jonathan Stewart, Lucy Stewart, James Stewart and Sally Stewart of Boerne, TX; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gayle and Roger Hines and Linda and Truman of Texarkana. Phyllis will be mourned by many other loving family members and friends.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Stewart, James Stewart, David Donovan, Kevin Hines, Scott Hines and Mark McGregor.
