Phyllis Ann Dietrich's Obituary
Phyllis Ann Dietrich was born on August 19, 1931 in Bristol, CT to John and Betty Zawacki. She passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 in a local hospital. Phyllis was married on September 5, 1955 to the love of her life, George Lewis Dietrich. This past year they celebrated 60 years together with a wonderful cruise to Alaska. She loved her family dearly and treasured every moment spent with them. Phyllis had a long career doing many different things, but her favorite was when she owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast. She was also an avid gardener, bird watcher and loved the stock market. She traveled extensively in both the states and Europe. She was also a very accomplished water color artist and a baker.
Mrs. Dietrich was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, John Dietrich. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, George Lewis Dietrich; her daughter, Debbie Dietrich-Ferguson; and one granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Ferguson.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Thursday, October 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Longview. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family request that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 841125 Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
