Phyllis Dalton Creech
Services for Phyllis Dalton Creech will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Father Kevin Wittmayer officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Creech was born in Long Island, NY and educated in NY & CA. She lived in Tulsa, OK for seven years before moving to TX in 1963. She lived in Longview for 43 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She retired as an accountant from the Postal Service in 1992 after 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise & Joseph Dalton; the rest of the Dalton gang; sisters, Emily, Dorothy, Florence, Edna; brother, Ted and her very special dog, Brandy Lou.
Phyllis dearly loved her family and all her grandkids and was very proud of the accomplishments through the years and their many pets they couldn't live without.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Creech; daughters, Judy Ward Worster and husband Jeff, Cindy Barron Castillo and husband Joel; sons, Russell Ward and wife Donna, and Donald Ward of Grapevine; grandsons, Jeffrey David, Justin, Robert, Chase, Philip and Dalton and granddaughter Lucy. She is also survived by her brother Ed Dalton of Ben Lomond, CA as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and two sweet pups, Benjamin and Zoey.
