Phillip Wayne Williams' Obituary
Phillip Wayne Williams, 68, went home to heaven in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 15, 2010. He was born in Freeport, Texas, May 5, 1942. Wayne was a dedicated and loving husband and the most wonderful father anyone could ask for. Wayne will always be remembered as a faithful and true friend to all who knew him. He was one who always loved to have fun. His love for our country was immeasurable and he was always proud to talk about his years of military service in the United States Marine Corp. His love for the Lord was evident in all he thought, said, and did. He was a great man of character and integrity. Wayne was a hard worker who loved accomplishing great things. He built an impressive career in the aerospace industry that spanned over forty years. He was truly blessed to have a remarkable career. Wayne lived his life for his family and had no greater joy than spending every available moment with them. He was truly everything to his family. Wayne was pre-deceased by his loving parents Paul and Louise Williams, and his grandparents J. Marvin and Alma Walden, and aunts Sue Richardson, Renee Gordon, and Ruth Lemon. Wayne is survived by his wife Sandra Williams, daughter Kimberly Mullikin Toby, and son Phillip Wayne Williams Jr., and brothers Marvin Williams Dorothy, Paul Williams Jr. Linda, and Ray Williams Gale, aunts Lila Hathaway and Jean Cajigal Pete, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Our husband and father was greatly adored and will be sorely missed. Our faith in God will strengthen us until we join him in heaven one day.
