With mixed emotions do I write to you at this time. It is an honor to be called a friend of Wayne Williams. In the last 15 years, Wayne provided a constant source of encouragement to me. His optimistic spirit helped during some very challenging times. I will miss him during this time of separation, but look forward to hearing him call me by name when I see him face to face in heaven.

Dear Mrs. Williams, Phillip, Kim & Toby -
It saddens my heart to hear of your loss and wish that I could be there today. Mr. Williams was such a special husband & father to all of you, as well as friend to many. And, I have always considered each of you part of my family! Upon hearing the news, I shared with Mom some great stories about his personality & character that were so fondly remembered. He knew how to make you laugh! I will never forget the many warm memories and hugs that he so willingly gave, as well as the wonderful advice he had on any subject matter. He was always a welcomed face and smile; he will be missed. Though I cannot imagine the hurt at this time, I consider it a blessing to have known him and to know each one of you. We will be praying in the days ahead that God brings you a peace with each new moment. We love you and know that his legacy will be carried on in each of you.
