Services for Philip H. Smith will be held at 10 AM Monday morning at Wesley-McCabe Methodist Church with Reverend Virginia Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Ho Read Obituary

I just learned of Phil's passing. I'm saddened I did not know in time to attend the funeral. I have fond memories of the MANY hours Phil & Johnye played bridge with my parents. Also great memories of our times together on Diane Dr. and Mary Jane Dr. Phil was a great scout master to me and I have good memories of the campouts, etc. May God give you peace and rest during this time.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Phil's death. I send you deepest sympathy and regards. I am sorry that I could not attend his services.
Uncle Phil was always very nice to me as a child. I remember him coming to Mammy and PawPaw's home on 12th SE in Paris. He was always kind to everyone and very respectful. I appreciated him coming to Daddy's services in 1990.
Again, may you find comfort in all that he did and for the years that he lived.

I pray for God's strength and comfort for this precious family. I have such fond memeories of our vacations and holidays spent together. I have a wonderful memory of Phil dancing the Polka with me, an 11 year old girl, at Lynxhaven. I'm especially grateful for the encouragement and support given my Mom, Sadie, and me by Phil and Johnye during a very difficult time in our lives.
