Perry M. King's Obituary
Funeral services for Perry King, 65, of Joinerville, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at The Father?s House formerly Full Gospel Christian Assembly with Rev. Billy Ferguson, Pastor Allen Mullins, and Rev. Cameron Strange officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. King died Sunday , December 17, 2006, at his residence.
He was born January 2, 1941 in Marshall and had lived in Joinerville since 1942. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Army. He was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Assembly and attended Gaston Schools. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lena Mae King.
Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2006, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Surviving are daughters: Genna K. Pool and husband Bryan of Henderson, Jessica K.
K. McInroe and husband John of Overton; son, Patrick L. McGlasson of Campbell; sister, Iva Mae Pregeant of Lynn Haven, Florida; twin brother, Jerry Marcus King of Magnolia; sister, Kay King Hill of Montgomery, Ala; and brother Bill King; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Grafton Ferguson, Bubba Sanders, Jim Taliaferro, Valentine Fajardo, Mike Ham, Dave Phipps, George Davis, Rcihie Davis, and Lewis Moore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Clark, Jimmy Ferguson, George Barak, and Loy Williams.
