Funeral services for Perry A. Richards, 84, of New Braunfels, formerly of Longview, will be 10 AM Saturday, November 10 in the Chapel of the Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. with Reverend Bill Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Richards died Tuesday in a New Braunfels nursing facility.
He was born June 30, 1917 in Titus County, Texas to Lonnie and Ophelia Richards. Mr. Richards had lived for 4 years in New Braunfels coming from Longview.
He was a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church and was retired from Exxon Pipeline where he worked as a gauger and in other capacities.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 9 from 7 PM until PM.
Mr. Richards is survived by daughters and their spouses, Deborah and Gordon Lytle of Dallas, Glenda and Russ Nalley of Woodville, TX; grandsons, Perry Lowery, Ryan Christopher Scott,
Derek Wade Scott and Chase Nalley.
He is also survived by one great grandchild, Maddie Lowery; sister, Pearline Northam of Vidor and a number of nieces and nephews.
