One of my favorite memories with Penny was when we worked together for about 4 months in timekeeping. The building we worked in was pretty shabby and there was an area in the floor that was weak and we had this ongoing joke that if one of us fell through, we were both falling through- and getting paid! The toiled started leaning and the joke continued. We would physically act out falling though the floor to get our stories straight if it ever happened (obviously we were kidding, or were we? 😊). We laughed and laughed. When she moved on she took that sense of humor with her, and I'll miss that the most.
When I get to heaven I can't wait to tell her how amazing her funeral was. A community who recognized her kindness, children who saw her value to this world and in their lives and a husband who adored her. And the full gospel shared- who knows who will join us there in Heaven because of that fact alone. Rest well Penny, until we see eachother again.
