Peggy J. Waugh
Peggy J. Waugh left this life to be with God on July 3, 2015. She was born December 29, 1941 in Shreveport, LA. She attended Marshall High School and achieved a double bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Education.
She served her country first as an Army wife, then as a military mom. Through all the years and many deployments she remained strong, steadfast and supportive.
She was a past President of The Officers Wives Club at both Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and Ft. Carson, CO, a past President of The Garden Club at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and a past President of the Longview Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harley Jones, mother, Imojean Jones and husband, LTC Tommy Waugh, (Ret).
She is survived by three children, Bonita, Tommy and Richard; sister, Billie Dodson and brother, Ernie Jones, along with their respective families. She has 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Pope City Cemetery in Harrison County. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
