Peggy, lovingly known by family as “Grandmommie,” went to celebrate her 80th birthday with Jesus, the greatest gift of all! She was a kind and gentle Christian woman, who loved spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband Archie traveled extensively with Rotary International, so her friends extend around the world. She worked as an office clerk for B&H Pump for 25 years. She was a faithful member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church until her health failed. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank employees of Hawkins Creek Assisted Living; Joyce Jackson and west wing staff of Summer Meadows Nursing Home; and a special thanks to Sandra Epps, hospice aid.
Services for Peggy will be Thursday, February 12 at 2pm at Oakland Heights Baptist Church. A visitation will take place prior to the service at Oakland Heights starting at 12 noon. A private family burial will take place after the service.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the charity of your choice.
