Peggy Green Scarborough's Obituary
Peggy was born on September 23rd, 1928 to Charles and Virgie Teague in Rushing Springs , TX . She had resided in Longview since the 1930's and passed away on Feb. 9th, 2011.
Peggy Teague married Paul Green on Oct. 19, 1946. Peggy is survived by two sons, Charles Green and wife Carol and Gary Green, who both reside in Longview , and one daughter Paula Green Rainbolt who resides in Casper , Wyoming .
Paul preceded Peggy in death on July 9th 1957. Peggy later remarried and gained two step-daughters, Linda Scarborough Knight and Sheila Scarborough Stephens. Sheila preceded her mother in death in Dec. 2005.
Peggy is survived by her children as well as her nine grandchildren, Brian Green and his wife Tracey, Preston Green and his wife Renee', Kyle Green, all of Longview , TX ., Stormy King and his wife Victoria, Sandia TX. , Cody King, Edcouch , TX., Sandy Green Martinez and her husband Pete Dallas , TX. Summer Clift and her husband Buddy, Gilmer , TX . Jeremy Murders, Madisonville , TX., and Travis Napoleon, Houston , TX .
Peggy is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; two surviving brothers, Charles Teague from Houston Tx, Walter Teague from Kingston Maryland; and a sister Dorothy Danchick from Dallas Texas.
Peggy is also survived by life long friends Dot Golman and Peggy Stansell.
Peggy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House 5016 Gilmer Road 75605
Graveside services will be held at Ten O'clock AM on Saturday February 12, 2011 at Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday February 11, 2011 from 5-7 pm.
