Peggy Jean Deason's Obituary
Funeral services for Peggy Jean Deason, 87, of Henderson will be 11 am Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Peggy was born on March 20, 1936, in Henderson and died June 17, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Rusk County. She graduated high school in 1954. After high school she attended beauty school and retired as a beautician in 1999, so she could stay home and take care of her grandson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson. She loved her Sunday School class and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Byron; son and daughter-in-law, James and Cathy Deason; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Tim Smith and her grandson, Kyle Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audie and Nadine Sanders.
