Peggy Ann Blakeley's Obituary
Peggy Ann Blakeley, 82, of Longview, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Longview Hills Nursing Home. She was born on June 6, 1937, in Longview to Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Creger. Peggy grew up in Longview and graduated from Longview High School in 1956. She then pursued a career in nursing until she married the love of her life, William Blakeley, in 1959, to whom she was married for 35 years.
Peggy and William raised their children, Margaret and Billy, in Longview, and were proud owners of a bustling automotive shop, A & B Spring. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, who loved her family and friends deeply. She was also a good-humored individual, often bringing a genuine smile and hearty laugh to those around her.
Peggy is survived by her son, Billy Blakeley and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Misti Curnutt and her husband Paco, Ashlee Arden and her husband Chris, Candace Boney and her husband Morgan, Cameron, Clayton, and Callie; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Haley, Brice, Jacob, Kate, Noah, Carter, Christina, Lexi, Levi, Ava, and Riley; and great-great-grandchildren Logan and Malaya. She is also survived by her companion, Herman Sepulvado.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, William Blakeley; daughter, Margaret Curnutt; and great-grandson Christopher Lichty.
Peggy will be missed tremendously by family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2pm in the mausoleum at Rosewood Park in Longview.
