Peggy Abernathy Gammill's Obituary
A graveside service for Peggy Abernathy Gammill, 79, of Longview will be 12 Noon Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Campground Cemetery, in Hampton, Arkansas with Pastor Perry Crisp officiating. Ms. Gammill passed away Saturday, July 23, 2005 in a Longview Nursing Home. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Peggy was born on January 2, 1926 in Smackover, AR to Julian Ray and Jennie Pearl Abernathy. Ms. Gammill was a retired teacher from Smackover I.S.D. She has been in the Longview community since 1971 and was a member of the Judson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and Husband of 42 years, Dion Lowell Gammill.
She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Gammill of Phoenix, Arizona; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Diana Gay and Patrick Tracy of Pritchett, TX, and Jennifer and Randy Cannon of Diana, TX; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
