Peggie Alene King's Obituary
Graveside services for Peggie Alene King, 88, of Baytown, formerly of Henderson will be 11 am Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Lakewood Memorial Gardens under direction of Rader Funeral Home. She was born Feb 24th, 1937 in New London, Texas and died July 18th, 2025 in Baytown, Texas.
She is survived by daughter Cindy and husband James McDonnel, son Allen King and wife Janet, son Chris King and wife Linda, son Jed King and wife Cindy, son Jon King and wife Martha, daughter Mandi Burns and husband Ray
Grandchildren: Melissa Danner, Samantha McDonnel and Ronny Danner. Great grandchildren: Madison McDonnel and fiancé Noah Jiron, Kady McDonnel, Leah Clifford, and Holley Danner.
She was preceded in death by husband Ronny King, parents Raymond Welch and Goldie Brown, daughter Vickie Lyon, sister Tessie and brother-in-law Pete Jones, and brother Raymond(Bodie) Welch.
Peggie enjoyed traveling; to include church mission trips to Romania, Peru, Africa, Mongolia, Thailand and other countries. One of her fondest memories is riding elephants. Peggie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
