Pearl Louise Pierce's Obituary
Pearl Louise Smith Pierce, 96, of Longview, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 5, at a local nursing care facility
Mass of Christian Burial for Pearl Louise Pierce will be 10:30 AM Saturday, October 8, at St Anthony Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Priest and Father Bruce Lincon officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 10 AM Saturday at St Anthony Catholic Church.
The family will greet friends on Friday, October 7, at Rader Funeral Home, Longview, from 6 to 8 PM.
A native of Neighborton, Louisiana, she was born October 14, 1914 to Oscar Melvin and Mary Etta Clark Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of St Anthony Catholic Church. Pearl was a kind and loving mother and devoted to her children.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donnell C. Pierce, Sr., a daughter Susan Kay Flynn and a son Donnell C. Pierce, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gloria Pipak and husband Joe of Longview, Richard J. Pierce and wife Rebecca of Longview and Judy Hubbs and husband Jack of Longview, daughter in law Carole Pierce of Centerville Ohio, seventeen 17 grandchildren and thirty nine 39 great grandchildren.
