Pauline Napps' Obituary
Services for Pauline Gannon Napps, 88, of Longview will be held Tuesday morning at 10 AM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Mrs. Napps passed away Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 PM.
Pauline was born on September 28, 1919 in Murfreesboro, TN to Thera and Andy Gannon. After high school, she proudly served her country well during WWII in Ft. Olgethorpe, GA as a Sergeant in the Women's Army Corp where she trained women to be deployed in all areas of duty during the war. She was a loving mother, a homemaker and a member of Alpine Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Napps, and her brother, Connie Gannon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Mary Napps of Longview; her grandson, James Davis and his wife Lina; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Ms. Charlotte Awuku-Boateng for her loving care and attention.
