Pauline L. Greer's Obituary
Funeral services for Pauline Greer, 94, will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home beginning at 10am. The family will be gathering for a time of visitation on Friday the hour prior to the service. Burial will be held following the funeral service in the Hallsville Cemetery. Pauline passed into the arms of the Lord in the early morning of November 25, 2017.
Pauline was born on January 15, 1923 in Hallsville to parents John and Effie Walls. She was a lifetime member of the Hallsville First Baptist Church where she loved to attend Bible studies and praise the Lord. Pauline worked for the Hallsville ISD for many years and loved serving the students on a daily basis.
Pauline was a Mother first and foremost, and later a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed baking for those she loved and made some of the best dinner rolls. Pauline was a truly loving and kind person to all whom she met.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Greer; her son David A. Greer; a granddaughter Chelsey Greer Stryker; as well as her 5 sisters and 1 brother. Those left to cherish their memories of Pauline include her son, Jonnie C. Greer and his wife Sandra; her daughter-in-law Debra Greer; grandchildren Wendy Greer Francis, Randy Greer, Spencer Greer, and Mike “Bud” Perkins; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
