Paula Ann Harris' Obituary
Funeral services for Paula Ann Harris, age 68 of Tyler will be held 1:00pm Wednesday October 26, 2011 at the South Main Church of Christ in Henderson under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson. Mrs. Harris was born January 16, 1943 in Fort Worth and died Saturday October 22, 2011 in Tyler Funeral services for Paula Ann Harris, age 68 of Tyler, will be held Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 1:00pm at the South Main Church of Christ with Tom Jones officiating. Burial will be held Thursday at 12 noon at the Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Paula passed away and went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2011.
Paula was born January 16, 1943, the daughter of Evelyn and Clyde Plunkett, she married James Harris 12 years ago in Tyler.
Paula went to school at the Texas School for the deaf. She worked several years for a cleaners, and was a clerical at a bank.
A incredible, beautiful and strong woman, Paula loved church, reading her bible, camping, traveling and mostly surrounding herself with loved ones. Paula fought numerous obstacles in life including deafness, being blind in one eye, breast cancer, heart problems, COPD, strokes and many other surgeries, only to come home and lead a perfectly normal and productive life. She was fearless and the strongest person her family knew. Her bright and beautiful smile, quick wit and sense of humor and generous sprit will be terribly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Wilma Plunkett, her sister Donna Dickey, and her step son Otho Lofties Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband James Harris of Tyler, son Terry Lofties and wife Traci of Henderson, daughters Debbie Keese and husband Jim of Haltom City, Robin Hutchinson of Laneville. Grandchildren, Mykel Lofties, Chris Brown, Dillon Lofties, Dustin Lofties, Alex Hutchinson. Brother Bill Plunkett and wife Judy of Round Rock Nieces Bylthe Plunkett, Courtney Plunkett. Step Children Jerry Lofties, Diane Bennett, Nelda Ellerbee, Debbie Harris, and Johnny Harris.
Pallbearers will be Dillon Lofties, Dustin Lofties, Ralph Pack, Brent Pack, Chris Brown
And Mykel Lofties.
The family will meet friends at funeral home from 6-8pm Tuesday
