Dearest Yowell Family... I am sorry for the loss of your Paul. But, Heaven is blessed with another Angel. Oh how he will walk with the greatest among them. He was a true Gentleman to all his friends... so many memories and stories I have grown up with from my Dad, Gene and my brothers; Bruce and Doug... He was a special friend. My family and I wish you peace in this dark valley. Paul is in the sunshine of our Lord.##imported-begin##Margene Atkinson Ferguson##imported-end##

Dave and Family,
We just heard of Mr. Yowell,s passing. Your father helped me when I lost my stepfather and I will all ways be grateful. He was a great man, full of wisdom, compassion and most of all humor. I felt it an honor to have known him.
God bless and keep you all.##imported-begin##Bobby and Linda Fopay##imported-end##
Paul Yowell was a man with a vision for the future, spirit for community service, and compassion for others. He was a wise man who gave generously of his heart and his time to those around him. Paul and Rose lived next door to us on Tanglewood Court while my children were growing up, and we all have fond memories of sharing cups of coffee, riding on Paula's horse, eating Rose's lasagne, and helping fry Paul's freshly caught fish. When I had to purchase a home as a single parent, Paul guided me through the real estate maze to a darling home just right for us. I still live there, and my children come home to visit, bringing the precious grandchildren. Paul and Rose both opened their home and their hearts to all. Paul's and Rose's wise understanding of life and humanity endeared them to all of us. Plus, those hugs, hugs of comfort and hugs of joy--we shared them all. Paul's life shows that you can take it with you. He invested in people. His influence and memory will live on in this life as well as the next. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Paul was the most honest men and best man I have ever known. He and Rose have been like a second father and Mother to me. He and Rose were so very generous to help my husband and I out when we most needed it and never ask for anything in return. I will always remember his kind way and his soft words. I will also remember him riding the rapids with us in New Braunsfels and losing his glasses and never once did he get upset. They both were always game for what ever you wanted to do. They were great supporters of their children and also of many other children. We traveled many miles wth them to rodeo's to wathc our children compete. He is one I will always thin of as the "Gentle Giant of a Man". Rest in Peace MY FRIEND. Sorry for your loss David. I liked your Dad. He was a great man!
When I worked with Charles Utz in the landscaping business North of Longview High School, I could see your Dad had a great vision for Longview.
Keep him alive with your memories.##imported-begin##Andy Williams##imported-end##
