Paul Demmel's Obituary
Paul Demmel passed away in the morning on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and William Demmel and his brother, Bill Demmel.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Demmel, his daughters; Barb Blalack and Husband Chris, and Julie Krc and husband Wayne. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Rebecca Blalack, Hunter and Samantha Krc, and his sister, Sharon Guidoo of PA, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was born in Homestead, PA on August 10, 1947. He was married to his wife, Ruth for 51 years. Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Army and also served in the "Old Guard" in Arlington, VA. He worked at St. Joe Zinc in PA until 1979 and then at Lone Star Steel/US Steel for over 30 years. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandkids. He had a passion for his beautiful yard and landscaping and was very proud of his yard. He was a good man and beloved by all who knew him.
A visitation for Paul will be held Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 between 6 and 8 PM at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
