Paul Eugene Daily's Obituary
Paul Eugene Daily was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 26, 1931, to James Wesley Daily and Annie Lee Grimes Daily. He was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church of Longview. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean war. He met and married Anne Mae Gibson in California before moving to Longview, Texas; and both Anne and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by a step-son, Johnny Gibson of California; two brothers, James Wesley Daily, Jr. and wife Earlene P. Daily of Longview, Donald Lee Daily of San Jose, California; two sisters, Theda C. Thayer of Farmington Hills, MI, and Shirley Norma Mason of Longview; and many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
Paul loved Golf and was an avid football fan, cheering on the Cowboys and Texas Longhorns with his many friends. Paul was outgoing and never met a stranger. He dearly loved his two dogs, Zoie and Cloie with all his heart.
Graveside services will be conducted by Rader Funeral Home in Longview and will be held at the Hallsville Cemetery on September 10, 2018 beginning at 10 AM.
