Patsy Marie Pollard's Obituary
Patsy was born May 8, 1938 in Jacksonville, TX to Frazier and Edrie George and passed away on March 4, 2023. She attended New Hope School and graduated from Gallatin High School. She married James Pollard on July 7, 1956. Patsy and her family lived in many different cities due to James’ work location before settling in Longview, TX. She was a Christian of Church of Christ faith.
She enjoyed working her crossword and other type puzzles, painting, writing down hundreds of recipes from books and magazines, and gardening when she was able to. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debbie Jeriune Ray and her husband Mike of Hallsville, TX, James Pollard and his wife Sharon of Longview, TX; Tina Welch and her husband John of New London, TX; Tammy Grimes of Friendswood, TX; Jason Pollard and his wife Rayann of Kilgore, TX. Grandchildren are Dustin Horne, Jacob Pollard, Ashley Martin and her husband Tyler, Tanna Pollard and Chelsey Greer who she will have the glory to see in Heaven. Great grandchildren are Starla Stryker, Kaitlynn Pollard, Alex Pollard, Zack Pollard, Ava Martin, Michael Martin, and Annie Martin.
Immediate nieces and nephews are Bobby Ferrell, Darla Haigh, Laquita Goodson, Mi Lisa Colston, Kim Hinton, Jonathan George, Ronnie George, Keri Newberry, Philip George, Sharon George, Shanna Hart, Anya Breen. Also, Ricky Ferrell and Joel Starkey who she will get to see in Heaven. Many other nieces and nephews, cousins 2 sister in laws, Donna George and Charlie George and many friends.
Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, her parents, and all five of her siblings, Dewayne, Shelby, Arlin, Gary and Jerry.
