61 years ago, Ms Patsy was my preschool teacher at The School for Little Children located in the First United Methodist Church there in Longview, Texas. She was very loving and nurturing to me and all my classmates. I will never forget her. Rest in Peace Ms Patsy.

Katie and Gloria, what an incredible tribute to your mother! An amazing woman, I always looked forward to spending time with her. The message today spoken by Rev. Jackson, I would like to reiterate- she was a phenomenon! A particular endearing memory I will forever hold her in high regard was 22 years ago. Patsy invited me to come to her house to nap during the weeks I had been going and staying with my dad when he was in hospice. It might have been the most peace I experienced during that time. Ironically, Your mom and my dad passed away on the same day 22 years apart. Prayers of comfort for all of you - her legacy lives on…love. Angie
I had the privilege of teaching at Judson Middle School with Patsy( much to their dismay at times I was also allowed to have Gloria, Jim and Katie in class). A very special lady and a very special family. God Bless.
