Patrick Michael Doss
Funeral services for Patrick Michael Doss of Longview will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, December 10, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Dr. Michael C. Macey officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches. He passed away Sunday morning, December 7, 2009 at his residence in Longview.
Visitation will be from 5 t 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Patrick was born May 5, 1974 in Lufkin, Texas and was a lifetime resident of the East Texas area. He loved all genre of music.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clemon C. Dillen and Delbert and Mildred Doss all of Nacogdoches.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Delna Dillen Jones and step-father, Donnie Jones of Longview and father, Michael Delbert Doss and step-mother, Rhonda Doss of Lufkin; brother, John Paul Jones of Longview; sisters, Laura Michelle Doss Gerth and husband Paul of San Antonio and Alana Lee Doss of Lufkin; loving grandmother, Coma Dillen of Longview; aunts and uncles, Brenda Dillen and Don Couch of Austin, Vicki and Jimmy West of Longview, Wayne and Rebecca Dillen of Corpus Christi and Evan and Vanessa Doss of Houston; and numerous cousins and friends.
Patrick is at peace – surrounded by love, light and joy. His journey on this earth was short and often painful. His eternal journey has begun and the pain is now joy. Patrick is an angel. Everyone who knew Patrick knew love, maybe times of tortured love, but always love.
