It has been said "“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." Everyone that knew Patricia has a better understanding of that statement. To some she was a friend. To some she was family by choice. To some she was family. To all who knew her, she was loved in their own way and loved them in her own way.
I believe that words from Ray Bradbury best describe what happened the night of August 25, 2015 "“The world was bankrupted of ten million fine actions the night (s)he passed on.” Patricia did make the world a better place and will be missed greatly.
To Mike, Trish, and Chris let me provide some lyrics that I hope will provide a little comfort:
"People try, but only Jesus could know
The pain in your heart that may never go
Tough questions, they never leave your mind
Easy answers, they're nowhere to find
I see a piece of heaven
When I look at you
And it shines so bright
After all you've been through
It doesn't seem fair
Things like this never do
But now I see a piece of heaven
When I look at you
You may not see what you've been given
With all that's been taken away
Just remember from the darkest of nights
Always come the brightest days"
