Joan and Jamie- I am so sorry for the loss of Patty. She was such a sweet person. I was out of town and am just learning of her death. I am sorry I wasn’t able to attend her service. I love you both very much and my prayers are with you.
My granddaughters were devastated to learn of Miss Patti's death. Audry came in with a bear Miss Patti had given her and she said I plan to sleep with it forever. Aunt Pitty Patty was a wonderful friend over more then 60 years and she and I shared many long conversations about families and life in general that meant a great deal to me.She always had a cheerful nature and was truly interested in how each member of my family was doing. As a fellow alum of LHS Class of 1954, I'm especially saddened by the new of dear Patty Lou's passing. She was a truly special friend during my high school days. Cute as a button with a smile as big as all outdoors. Thanks to whomever posted the wonderful photo of her. THAT's the girl I remember! So sorry to learn about Patty. She was the sweetest person. She was always cheerful and smiling and so pretty. She believed totally in the Lord Jesus and loved her children very much. Patti and I shared an exercise class at the Institute for Healthy Living and she was always a "ray of sunshine"--smiling, joking, and enjoying life!! She fought cancer with dignity and grace. My life has been enriched with my friendship with Patti. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
