Services for Patricia Mallory Brown, 87, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Road in Longview with Mr. Phil D. Hodson and Reverend John H. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Mrs. Brown passed away on Friday, November 4, 2005 in Longview.
She was born March 17, 1918 in Elton, La., to Frank Dorsey and Ouida McNamar Mallory. She lived in Longview since March of 2001.
Mrs. Brown was a school teacher in Pleasant Hill, Zwolle, Oakdale, and Singer, La., and was a graduate of Noble High School, Louisiana State Normal College, and McNeese State University. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in DeRidder, La.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Brown; and grandson, Kyle Montgomery Brown. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Don Kyle and Sherry Hall Brown of Longview, Frank Mallory and Alice MacKinnon Brown of Anchorage, Ak.; grandchildren, Cynthia Brown Zino, Susan Renee Brown, Scott Mallory Brown; and one great granddaughter, Katelyn Michelle Brown.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the funeral home.
