Patricia Bullard Lehrling's Obituary
Patricia Bullard Lehrling passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2024. Born on April 4th, 1940, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lehrling spent most of her life in Illinois. She attended public schools in Illinois, Lockyear’s Business College in Indiana, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Business Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.
Mrs. Lehrling taught for many years in the Kankakee, Illinois, area. She was among the first faculty to teach at the Kankakee Area Career Center in Bourbonnais, Illinois, and retired from Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, Illinois, in 2000. After retiring and moving to Longview, Texas, she enjoyed volunteering for many years at the East Texas Literacy Council and the Longview Community Ministries. She was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Lehrling, her parents, Eppsie and Blanche Bullard, five sisters, two brothers, and a nephew.
Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Following Mrs. Lehrling’s wishes, no end-of-life service will be held. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois, at a later date.
