Patricia P. Collins' Obituary
Patricia Pringle Collins, age 80, died peacefully at her Longview home on January 21, 2017. Patricia was born on June 24, 1936, in Grapeland, TX, to A.J. and Rena Pringle. She was a 1954 graduate of Crockett High School and upon graduation made a career of working for the State of Texas Department of Human Services until she retired in 1991. After retirement, she moved to Longview to start her new role as "Mimi" to her only grandson, Steven. She was a long and faithful member of South Loop Church of Christ until transferring membership to Judson Road Church of Christ in Longview. She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves son, Gavin Collins and wife Karen of Hallsville, TX. Grandson, Steven Collins of Nacogdoches, TX. Sister in law and cherished friend, Wardette Harrison of Crockett, TX, and special aunt, Ruth Pringle, of Rusk, TX. Along with many other family members and friends. The family, in keeping with the wishes of Patricia, will have private interment.
