Patricia Arliene Wilson's Obituary
A memorial service for Patricia Arliene Wilson, 88, will be held at the chapel at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Jehorek officiating.
Patty graduated from Plain City Ohio High School and attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She was an Executive Secretary for Kay Stahlen Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving with her family to Longview, Texas in 1956. Patty was Secretary to Joe Bailey at Foster Junior High for ten years and then Secretary to the Vice President of LeTourneau College before retiring in 1976.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pinecrest Country Club, Sage Book Club, Camellia Garden Club and Pinecrest Women's Golf Club.
Patty is survived by her husband of 67 years, Max; son Philip Wayne Wilson and daughter in law Carolyn of Longview; granddaughter Katy Wilson DuVall and husband Jason of Dallas; grandson Jeff Wilson and wife Katie of Longview; great grandsons Jackson Scott DuVall and John Carsey Wilson. She is also survived by nephew Jim Mitchell and his wife Betsy of Austin; great nieces Caty Mitchell Winslow and husband Alex of Austin; Julie Mitchell Weber and husband Jeremy of Chicago; Molly Mitchell Shah and husband Anup of Charlotte. Great grand nieces and nephews Caroline and Henry Winslow, Clara and Ellie Weber and Kal Shah. In addition, many she leaves behind many other dear family members, nieces and nephews in Ohio and Indiana.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
