Patricia Ann Robertson's Obituary
Patty Robertson beloved wife, mother, grandmother and business partner passed away at a local hospital Wednesday, October 5, 2005. Born July 1, 1943 in Pittsburg, Texas, she married Gene Robertson on November 30, 1963. She was a homemaker during the rearing of their children. She moved with her family to Longview in 1981 and began working in her husband?s insurance agency full time in 1985. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church and loved to sing I the choir. She was a member of the JOY Sunday School Class. Patty loved working with her plants and had flowers too numerous to count.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Walker, her mother, Frances Walker, and brother, Rick Walker.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; daughters and sons-in-law, Kellie and J.R. Hewitt and Robin and Tim Lewis all of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Deann Robertson of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Ray Dunbar of Pittsburg; six grandchildren, Tyler Hewitt, Sarah Lewis, Reid Lewis, Hannah Lewis, Haylea Robertson, and Lacy Robertson; mother-in-law, Juanita Robertson of Pittsburg and many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
Memorials may be given to Oakland Heights Baptist Church Music Fund or to a charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday at Oakland Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Roberson officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
