Pat Maxwell's Obituary
Funeral services for Pat Maxwell, age 76 of Henderson, will be held Monday April 25, 2011 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Lynn Loe officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery.
Mrs. Maxwell died Thursday April 21, 2011 at ETMC Henderson. Pat was born January 1, 1935 in Henderson to Lester & Latys Baker. She was a member of the St. Paul?s Methodist Church, a member of Henderson Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, A Silver Star for the Rusk County Chamber of Commerce, and a volunteer for Hospice. Pat was a devoted wife for 48 years and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A military wife, she felt blessed to have traveled broadly including Okinawa, Washington DC, California and Texas. After her husband retired, they enjoyed many years of traveling all over the United States and Canada. She was also the former owner of the Country Health Food Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don Maxwell, sons; Richard Maxwell and David Maxwell and her parents.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Kathy Maxwell and Deborah Dawson both of Henderson, Grandchildren; Matt Hamilton & Ashley, Josh Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton, Billy Dawson, Bryan Dawson, David Maxwell, Kaitlyn Chiles, and Jennifer Dillender, great grandchildren Brayden Dawson, Nathan Maxwell and soon to be born great grandson. Also surviving are her brother and sisters Dick Baker of Irving, Ann Littrell of Austin, and Joy Kouts & Bob of Bastrop.
Pallbearers will be Matt Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton, Bryan Dawson, Billy Dawson and David Maxwell.
The family will meet friends from 2~ 3pm before the service
