I was saddened to see that the world had lost such a dear sweet person. My dad Tulley worked at Schlitz later Stroh's from the beginning so I came to know Miss Pat at an early age. She always referred to me as "Mickey Mouse" and always took time for me on the few occasions we got to visit daddy at work. She always continued to inquire about what we were doing in life and I did get the privilege to introduce my daughter to her before the brewery closed and she gave her the same warmth and attention she had shown me since early childhood. The world was a better place because of Miss Pat and I know heaven is now a better place with her there. I look forward to seeing her again when I am called home.

I am but one of a volume of people whose life has been enriched by knowing this sweet lady. God blessed me by putting her in my life. Rest in peace Mrs Box.##imported-begin##Lanny Milton##imported-end##
Being a Schlitz/Stroh Brewery employee for 32 years, I had many opportunites to see Pat. Not only was she a good nurse, she was a very caring person. Special thoughts and prayers go out to her family.##imported-begin##Joe and Pat Fette##imported-end##
My Dear Sweet Pat:
Our friendship began back in 1995 when you sent me a very sweet loving card after my mother passed away. In that card, you indicated I was your first baby that you helped deliver back in 1953 at Kilgore Memorial Hospital.
We struck up a friendship that has meant so much to me. You were always so strong and brave. You met each day with a very positive attitude and I admire that of you.
I will miss our talks and miss our visits. You will forever be in my heart and prayers.
Love and Miss you Pat!
Your First Child,

Pat and I often worked together as office volunteers at Trinity Episcopal Church during the years I lived in Longview. She was a sweet and caring lady and I enjoyed knowing her. May God bless the family.

Being a volunteer at the Longview Cancer Center, I had the good fortune of knowing Mrs. Box for a number of years. I will miss her smile and her incredible "love and appreciation" for her friends and life in general. My life has been enriched by knowing Pat.##imported-begin##Sally Brown##imported-end##
