Our hearts were saddened when we read the paper and saw that Lilas had passed away. She and Leon had been our neighbors for 14 years, and wonderful neighbors. We shared some good times. Lilas shared her special recipes with me. Leon was always giving us plants, etc. We were out of town and was not aware of her passing.
