Pamela Sue Hlad's Obituary
Pamela Sue Hlad, age 60, was born in Manhattan, KS on June 24, 1955 and went to live with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2015. She was a loving mother and career woman her entire adult life. She worked for a hospital pharmacy for 10 years, then switched to a business office where she has worked for the last 28 years for Rescar, Inc as Corporate Support to Mini Shop and Regional Managers. She then became Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Operations and has done that for the last 17 years. She loved crocheting, quilting and crafting. She enjoyed baking for her family at the holidays and was always busy doing something. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Dillon Duane Rhodenbaugh; one son, A.J. (Albert John) Hlad; her mother E. Colleen Ludes; her father William J. Mason; both maternal and paternal grandparents; one brother-in-law Scotty Ward and one nephew, Donald Ward.
Those left to cherish her memory are her significant other, Bill Harris; two sons, Dennis Rhodenbaugh and Carmen Holden of Abilene, TX, and Christopher Hlad and his wife Rachel of Hesston, KS.; nine grandchildren, Bailey Rhodenbaugh, Miley Starkey, Colton and Paige Rhodenbaugh, Sadie Small, Trey and Coby Hlad, and Abigail and Owen Hlad. Also surviving are three sisters, Linda Turner and her husband David of Salina, KS., Judy Hill and her husband Ron of Clay Center, KS., and Rose Ward of Salina, KS.; and two brothers Richard Ludes and wife Mariam of Overton, TX, and Bud Ludes and Wife Dona of Salina, KS; many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, September 19, 2015 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Bro. Freeman Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park in Longview. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
