Pam Adkisson's Obituary
Services for Pam Adkisson, 48, of Longview will be 10 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Ms. Adkisson passed away Saturday morning after a long and courageous 6 year battle with cancer. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Pam was born on September 21, 1960 in Marshall, Texas to Max and Helen Adkisson. She worked for 15 years for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the Parole office as an office manager. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Dunning; parents, Max and Helen Adkisson; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Carmela Adkisson of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and David Bagley of White Oak; 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Frase and the entire staff at the Longview Cancer Center, and to Beacon Hospice at Margarets House.
