Graveside services for Oran E. Hickerson , 92, of Longview will be 3 PM Thursday, December 8th at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Rev. Scott Schulik officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral home. Mr. Hickerson died Tuesday morning at a Longview hospital.
He was born November 4, 1913 in Lynn County, Texas to G.W. and Laura Edwards Hickerson. A former resident of Troup, Mr. Hickerson had lived in Longview since 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troup and was a retired rancher.
His survivors include a daughter, Janith Sallee of Longview; a daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Bill Lattimore of Southlake, Texas; a son, Dennis Hickerson of Tatum; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
