Opal Jewel Holt's Obituary
Opal Jewel Helen Holt, also known as Opal, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 93, in Tyler, TX. She was born on July 13, 1930, in Potosi, Missouri, to Irene and Jewel McNealy. Opal was the beloved wife of the late J.W. Holt.
Opal was a devoted homemaker, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. She was a loving mother to her children: oldest son, Dan Holt; daughter Sandi Holt; and youngest son Jeff Holt. Opal is also survived by her son-in-law, Wayne Willsie, and daughter-in-law, Jeneice Holt. She was a cherished grandmother to Ben, Peter, and David Holt; Lisa Ball; and Ty Holt. Opal was blessed with great grandchildren: Harry, Alex, Payton, Nicole, Brooke, Emily, Gabe, and Anna Belle. She is also survived by her sisters: Dottie, Patsy, and Judy; and her sisters-in-law, Vurla and Leotta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Opal has now joined her heavenly family; her husband, J.W. Holt; her parents, Irene and Jewel McNealy; her daughter-in-law, JoAnn Holt; her sisters, Mildred, Lavonne, and Shirley; and her brothers, Marion and Bobby.
