Oleta Black Tidwell's Obituary
Services for Oleta Black Tidwell, 96, of Longview will be at 12:00PM on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the chapel at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with Bro. Bobby E. Moore officiating. Mrs. Tidwell was born on August 24, 1915, in Siloam, Texas and passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012, at the Pine Tree Lodge Nursing Home in Longview.
Oleta was preceded in death by in death by her husband, James F. "Jim" Tidwell; her parents and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Steve Glasgow; three grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Robin Glasgow, Stacy and Scott McClellan, Kelley and Andre Mayeux; 4 great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Braedon, Connor and Lacy; her sister, Erma Lee Rhoden of Katy, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday July 30, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM.
The family would like to express their thanks to the caregivers at the Pine Tree Lodge and Beacon Hospice for their love and care for Mrs. Oleta Tidwell.
