Dear Jean, Ryan, Robin and Alexis,
To my dismay, I have been out of town and unable to attend the service for Odis. My Dad, Judge Henry McKinney, knew Odis long before I did. Jerry Harris and Odis were my earthly angels and friends many times over the years. I had not spoken to or seen Odis for several years until I needed to ask him for some information.
Not only did he help me with the information, he called a couple of weeks ago to check back with me and make sure I'd found his old friend.
We spent most of the conversation talking about how wonderful his life was. Odis was so proud of his wife and kids - and the grandkids were just the icing on his life. His greatest joy in his career was working with Ryan - one proud Dad!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to have known Odis and to have him for a friend. There are no words to ease your pain at this time, but hopefully you will gain comfort and strength in the prayers and caring of so many people who loved Odis and his family.

I am honored to say that I work at Hill & Hill. Just to know that I can say that Odis Hill signed my paychecks for the past few years makes me feel like one of the lucky ones. ? ?O? Please know that we will work extremely hard to make you very proud of us. We have some very big shoes to fill. The office misses you greatly and you have your own special place in our hearts.
One more thing, I hope that you have found someone up there to help you look up your Daily Racing Forms and Ryan?s golf tournaments on the Internet.

I just found out about Odis and my heart and prayers are with you and your family. When I was just a kid myself Odis would take me riding in his convertible all around Kilgore. I remember when he first met you and even though I was young at the time, I knew by the way he would talk about you that he would love you forever. Even though he was a second cousin to me, he had a place in my heart that will be their forever. May God Bless you and your family and give you strength and peace.
