O. M. Reeks' Obituary
Funeral services for O.M. ?Pete? Reeks, 80, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, with Tony Harp officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mr. Reeks was born on October 4th, 1923 in Pickering Louisiana to Thomas Millard Reeks and Emma Durbin. Mr. Reeks worked for the Texas Eastman company for 25 years as a maintenance electrician.
Mr. Reeks was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Edward Reeks, and a daugh-ter, Patricia Joyce Parker. He is survived by his loving companion, Barbara Richie, of Gladewater; Daughters and son-in-law, Peggy and Jimmy Shillings, of Longview, Mona Perkins of Bossier City, and Kayaen Reeks; Son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lynn and Glynda Reeks of Dallas; Grandchildren, Jill Burgdorf, Chandra Parker, Vangie Eskew, Kevin Shillings, Cory Reeks, Angie Flanagan, Kristina Phillips, Cynthia Parker, Christopher Reeks, Robin Reeks, Marie Calhoun, and Jason Dry; Great-grandchildren, Dustin Phillips, Victoria Flanagan, Tatum Reeks, Benjamin Cain IV, Shane Calhoun, Chris-topher Calhoun, McKayla Calhoun, Nicholaus Calhoun, Taylen Eskew and Ryland Eskew.
