Novella Odom's Obituary
Mrs. Odom passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, September 24, 2017, surrounded by her family at Trinity Timbers Assisted Living. Funeral services for Novella Odom, 97, of Longview, will be at 12pm, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 27, from 6-8 pm.
Mrs. Odom had many friends and loved life. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, bowling, cooking, dancing, country music and spending time with her many friends and family.
Mrs. Odom was born August 27, 1920 in Aubrey, TX. to W.R. Pogue and Lillie Byrom. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters June Perry, Pearl Satterwhite, son Worth Dale Davis, husband Henry Perry and T.J. Odom.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J Ryan and husband Rex Ryan of Longview, grandchildren Kevin Lane Renfro and wife Audrey, Jennifer Renfro, Holly Coker and husband Dave, Jeff Davis, Angie Blankenship, and her husband Todd Blankenship. Great grandchildren Olivia and Annie Renfro, Matthew Renfro, Colton, Callahan and Londyn Coker, Trey Bragg, Heather Blankenship-Guy and Courtney Blankenship.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Trinity Timbers Assisted Living, her nurse, Misty Gillaland, and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care.
