Norman Leon Whitsett's Obituary
Services for Norman Whitsett, 71, of Longview will be at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Thursday June 3, 2010 at 12:00pm with Reverend Wayne Spanhanks officiating. Norman died on Sunday May 30, 2010.
Norman was born February 24, 1939 in Olney Texas. Norman worked in the Engineering business for almost forty years. He was a member of the Springhill First Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and dad of three children and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bon and Susie Whitsett and his brother Bill. He is survived by his wife Faye of forty six years, two sons; Stephen and his wife Judy of Springhill, Gregory and his wife Melisa of Frisco, and a daughter; Jill of Longview, grand daughters Kaitlyn and Abby of Spring Hill. Visitation will be Wednesday June 2, 2010 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
