Norman D Fergueson's Obituary
Services for Norman Dave Fergueson, 70, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Greggton First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Lasater officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Mr. Fergueson passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, in Longview. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012, at the funeral home.
Mr. Fergueson was born March 18, 1942, in Hooks, Texas, to Howard Lee and Carmia Mozzelle Fergueson.
Norm's biggest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren, playing with them, going to all their ball games, school plays and programs. He loved being with his great-grandson, watching him grow and develop into a beautiful boy.
Norm enjoyed spending time with Greg, Kathy and their family; Nicholas and Heath. His greatest joy in life was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Fergueson.
Mr. Fergueson is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Billie Joyce Fergueson of Longview; daughter, Kimberly Smith and Heath Cole of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kathy Fergueson of Tyler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Maurine Fergueson, Donald Fergueson, Larry and Rise' Fergueson and Paul and Mary Sue Fergueson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and David Corgell, Betty and Tony McCammon and Ann and Butch Shafer; grandchildren, Nicholas Lawrence, Madeline and husband, Richard Calderon, Sarah Feder-Fergueson and Michael Fergueson; great-grandson, Johnathan Calderon; and numerous nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank Margaret's House for all the wonderful care they gave Norm in his final days. Also, for the kind way they cared for his family.
