Norma's Obituary
Funeral services for Norma Love McAfee, 67, of Longview will be held Friday, September 28th at Mobberly Baptist Church, Longview at 10:00am. Burial will follow the funeral service at Summerfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27th 5-7pm at Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
Norma passed away Monday, September 24 in Tyler, Texas.
Norma was born December 2, 1944 in Longview, Texas to Marvin and Irene Woodall.
She attended Longview High School and Kilgore College
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted son Kelly and daughter in law Sharon and grandpuppy Oatmeal of Tyler. Brother Sonny Woodall and wife Loli, of Taft, Texas and sister Frankie Woodall Rogers, of Hurst, Texas.
Her niece, Jamie Pruitt and husband, Dale of Hurst and cousins Debra and Tommy Visage of Longview and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends, also survives her.
Her husband, Jerry and her parents precede her in death.
Norma was known for her contagious smile, her love for Elvis, her cooking; especially her chocolate sheet cake that so many people requested for their birthday. Her beautiful handwriting that was her own style of calligraphy was seen on anything from her grocery list to countless wedding invitations, including her son's. The best thing Norma was known for was her love for The Lord.
Norma retired from Sherman & Sherman Orthodontics where she worked for 19 years.
She had been involved in Jr. League of Longview, First Baptist Church and Neal McCoy's' East Texas Angel Network.
Norma's middle name "Love" truly exemplified what kind of person she was. She had so much love in her heart for anyone she met. She will truly be missed by so many people that loved her.
