Norma Jeanne Thomas' Obituary
Services for Norma Jeanne Thomas, 77, of Longview will be 2 PM Friday, September 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Barham officiating. Burial will follow in Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral home of Longview. Ms. Thomas passed away Monday evening in Longview. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Norma was born on December 22, 1931 in Rusk County Texas to Elton and Juanita Reaves. She was a long time member of Mobberly Baptist Church, and Secretary to the Athletic Director for Longview ISD for many years.
She was preceded in death in 2003 by her husband of 51 years, Jerry P. Thomas; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Johnny Colbert of Longview, and Jackie and Bert Schupp of Hallsville; granddaughter, Tracy Enoch and her husband Kevin of Richardson; grandson, Bryan Schupp and his fiancé, Stefanie Sheffield, of Houston; great-granddaughter, Avery Leigh Enoch of Richardson; 1 brother, Kenneth Reaves of New London; and I sister, Kat Cannon of Sulphur Springs.
The family request that memorial donations be made to Beacon Hospice at Margarets House, 5016 Gilmer Rd Longview TX 75604.
