Norma Elizabeth Gabler
Funeral services for Norma Elizabeth Gabler, 84, of Longview, will be 2 PM Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road with Dr. Gregg Zackary officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, July 27, 2007 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gabler died Sunday morning in Phoenix, Arizona.
Norma was born June 16, 1923 in Garrett, TX to Monroe and Mary Rhodes.
She was co-founder with her husband of 62 years, ?Mel,? of Educational Research Analyst, a non-profit organization. Norma was a member of the Mobberly Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gabler was preceded in death by ?Mel? and a son, Don Allen Gabler; and a brother, Monroe ?Dusty? Rhodes and a sister LaRue Carter.
She is survived by sons, James M. Gabler of Phoenix, AZ and Paul R. Gabler of Houston.
She is also survived by a brother, Jack Rhodes of Longview; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
