We were terribly sad to hear of Nonie's passing; she was one of the most 'real' people in our lives. We worked with Nonie helping raise money for the Symphony, but our help was a pittance compared to the years she gave to the cause! Nonie was proud of her role as a foot-soldier in the war that our government ignores, the war against the disease of hepatitis. She was tireless in her advocacy and in her ability to bring comfort and knowledge to the sick and the frightened. She will be missed by all of us in the Hep C community. Wayne and Nonie celebrated many of
their special birthdays together.
They would call each other and always say Happy Birthday and
made them close. She cleaned our
bookstore for years....
Words couldnt say enough how much
she means to us. Shared alot of
meaningful times.
